“People from Lei Feng's hometown, with a patriotic spirit... stand on technology and serve the people”
On the afternoon of March 5th, Liang Buge, Vice Dean of the School of Automation at Central South University and Technical General Consultant of Hunan Zennze Technology Co., Ltd., visited the Science and Technology Lecture Hall of Dake City. His self created "Zennze Song" received applause from the audience.

On site, Professor Liang Buge shared his story of equipment research and industrial application in the field of low-power ultra wideband radar life detection with the title of "Guarding Life Safety Technology - Prospects and Opportunities for Industrialization of Life Detection Radar".Looking back at the original intention of research and development, Liang Buge said that traditional radar can only see in the distance, and the target is always "high, large, and fast"; And ultra wideband radar has unique advantages in penetration, anti-interference, and short-range detection. Why can't its power be reduced to see some "low, small, slow" hidden targets?

Now, the life detection radar developed by the team can preliminarily determine whether there are survivors in the ruins in about 10 seconds, and lock the coordinates of survivors within a few tens of seconds... In disaster rescue such as earthquakes and landslides, it can help timely and accurately detect trapped persons and improve search and rescue efficiency. At present, two leading domestic enterprises supported by the core technology of Professor Liang Buge's team have achieved a market share of over 90% in the domestic market for radar life detectors.
Professor Liang Buge and his team have been engaged in research and achievement transformation of low-power ultra wideband radar, making outstanding contributions to China's seizing the world's ultra wideband radar technology highland and pioneering development of the ultra wideband radar industry.

In February 2022, Professor Liang Buge was awarded the 24th China Association for Science and Technology Outstanding Youth Achievement Transformation Award.

In 2023, Professor Liang Buge's team has started selling radar sleep detectors for the field of big health in the market. In 2024, research and development work on radar medical imaging equipment will also be launched. My vision is to develop radar life detection products that every household can afford. Currently, the team is promoting ultra wideband radar sleep monitoring products, which can be purchased for only a few hundred yuan. "Liang Buge said that in the next step, the team will combine artificial intelligence technology with 5G technology to carry out the research and development of a series of ultra wideband radar life detection intelligent sensors, and gradually promote mass production and market promotion.

What are the current policies regarding the field of life detection radar? "" What suggestions do you have for young entrepreneurs? "The technology lecture was packed with people, and during the interactive exchange session, everyone raised questions about academic research, market prospects, employment opportunities, and more in the field of radar.
In response to the enthusiastic questions from the audience, Liang Buge replied, "We focus on two lines, one is the education technology line and the other is the industrial application line. Therefore, in addition to research and development, we are also actively doing new media science popularization." He encouraged college students to establish cultural and technological confidence, face the forefront of world technology, the main battlefield of the economy, major national needs, and people's health, constantly practice and research, and seek opportunities in challenges.
