With the development and progress of society, people's emphasis on health management is gradually increasing, and the demand for monitoring their own or their family's health status is also growing.

Sleep is an important process for human recovery and repair, and good sleep quality is crucial for our physical and mental health. High quality sleep can enhance our immune system, improve memory and attention, and maintain a good state of life. Poor sleep quality may lead to a series of health problems such as heart disease, diabetes and depression. Therefore, it is essential to understand our sleep quality and take appropriate measures to improve it.
In recent years, more and more people have chosen smart devices to monitor sleep quality at home. By monitoring sleep, we can understand information such as heart rate, breathing, exercise, and sleep depth during the sleep process, thereby evaluating sleep quality and identifying potential issues.

The vital signs monitoring radar module is a self-contained airborne human vital parameter measurement sensor based on ultra wideband (UWB) biological radar technology. It can emit, receive, and process electromagnetic waves to scan the human body. By sensing the ups and downs of the chest cavity and using relevant signal processing methods, it can achieve monitoring of human respiration and heart rate, as well as sleep quality assessment applications.
Ultra Wideband (UWB) radar technology is a carrier free communication technology that uses bandwidth above 1.5GHz to transmit data using non sinusoidal narrow pulses ranging from nanoseconds to picoseconds, with millimeter level accuracy.
When the radar module emits electromagnetic waves to detect the human body, the fluctuation of the chest cavity and the beating of the heart will cause different delays in the electromagnetic waves. The module can measure the precise distance change value based on the different echo delays. By using relevant signal processing methods, it can extract parameters related to respiration and heart rate related to the heart and lungs, and achieve the function of measuring human respiration and heart rate.

7*24 automatic monitoring of vital signs (static human respiration and heart rate)
No sensory monitoring, no need for any contact with the human body
Can penetrate fabrics such as clothing and bedding, with strong anti-interference ability
Automatically focus on the human body within 3 meters for monitoring
High detection accuracy, low power consumption, and low cost
Low output power, long-term exposure poses no harm to the human body
Built in MCU processor runs algorithms and directly outputs detection results
Due to the high precision of ultra wideband radar and the absence of any electrodes or sensors in contact with the human body, it can achieve 24-hour non-contact monitoring of vital signs (respiratory rate and heart rate), provide sleep analysis reports and abnormal situation alerts, and is suitable for various scenarios that require monitoring of personnel physical indicators and sleep evaluation, such as sleep monitoring, smart hotels, smart elderly care, special patient monitoring, judicial surveillance, etc.
In addition, the module has a small size, simple interface, and is easy to integrate. It can be interconnected with other smart devices through UART serial port, making it very convenient to integrate into the customer's existing monitoring system.

1. Sleep monitoring
Real time monitoring of sleep heart rate and respiratory rate to understand physical condition;
According to the sleep report, adjust your schedule to improve your sleep.
2. Smart Hotel
Push sleep reports to enhance the check-in experience;
Provide attentive service based on the customer's sleep condition.
3. Smart elderly care
Confirm the safety of the bedridden state, promptly alert if any abnormal situations are found, and effectively improve the safety protection of the elderly.

Home based elderly care: Children can remotely check the vital signs and sleep conditions of their single parents through their mobile phones, and promptly confirm any abnormal alarms;
Community elderly care: Social workers can help adjust the daily routine of the elderly based on their sleep conditions, respond promptly to abnormal alarms, and provide assistance;
Institutional elderly care: Keep track of the vital signs and in/out of bed status of the elderly at any time, reduce the workload of night ward rounds, and also dynamically and continuously collect, analyze, and statistically analyze data on the patient's heart rate, respiratory rate, body movement, turning over, and out of bed status, facilitating timely detection of abnormal physical conditions.
4. Special patient monitoring
It has unique advantages for scenarios where it is inconvenient to monitor through contact methods, such as infectious disease patients, patients with extensive burns, and patients with mental and psychological disorders.
5. Judicial surveillance
Applied in interrogation rooms, detention facilities, drug rehabilitation centers, etc., for real-time monitoring of the life safety and health status of controlled individuals. Biological radar monitors controlled personnel within the target space 24 hours a day, automatically alerts when abnormal situations are detected, and prevents the occurrence of abnormal deaths, escapes, and other events.
